Stopped here to rent a U-Haul truck but also dined at the restaurant — fish & chips — fantastic service and awesome food! Customer service at U-Haul & dining were exceptional. Definitely recommend both places. 7 stars out of 5!!!
The motel looks a little rough on the outside, but the inside of the rooms are clean and have been updated with new furniture, a fridge, and a small island. The manager is amazing—super kind and quick to refund me when the beds turned out too hard for us. Since then, they’ve added mattress toppers and are continuing to improve the place. The attached restaurant was also a nice surprise with good food(Chinese). It kind of feels like Schitt’s Creek before the Roses took over—but here, the owners really are the Roses, slowly fixing it up with care. 15 mins from Sauble beach & Port Elgin.
